the building, situated at the intersection of rue de saintonge and rue de bretagne, belongs to the “immeubles en pointe” category; architectural structures built where historical urban layouts and new roads met. the triangular floor plan, projecting toward the entrance like the bow of a ship, imbues the space with a natural dynamic tension.
large display windows follow the geometry of the site, establishing a continuous dialogue between the interior and exterior, through a sequence of reflections, sightlines and perspectives. the interiors seem to open up to the city whilst simultaneously preserving their own sense of intimacy.
