the circus dreamers” is a new breeze of freshness that travels across all borders to welcome this winter. it recalls the cheerful and dreamy imagery of a contemporary circus, where we are main characters on the travelling stage of the world. “l’innocence, la jeunesse”: the contemporary circus is a place that brings lightness to the city, where young artists can freely express their vision of the world. they are acrobats, they are dreamers who fly between heaven and earth; they can transform small little things into extraordinary magic.

“the circus dreamers” evokes the world of magic: it recalls poetics, spirit, free space that enhances imagination and speaks a universal language that removes all borders. garments have space and freedom, silhouettes express an oniric, playful allure in their wide, relaxed shapes. colors like playing: from the most neutral to the most vibrant, overlapping one another. printed patterns are dreamy; the iconic theme of this colorful winter are flowers: they are inspired by oriental imagery, they cover soft silk dresses, small little waistcoats and fringed jumpsuits. scarves and foulards brightly paint this eclectic universe. the shoes cover the classic look with new cheerful and playful nuances, enriched by glittering rhinestones. elegant stilettos in chic suede, lamé nuit and cavallino leather.

the story began with a small collection of hand–finished t–shirts. grown in the fashion business, the forte brothers hail from veneto, one of the manufacturing districts in which made in italy has taken its shape and identity over the years, turning the artisanal process into an industrial one while keeping intact its values and peculiarities. giada and paolo have absorbed this ethos since childhood, in the family’s knitwear factories. giada trained at nottingham trent university, where she studied knitwear design, while paolo studied finance. after autonomous experiences in their respective fields, they decided to join forces on a project based on the values they believe in: the beauty of creativity as a filterless bond between the creator and the consumer. giada is in charge of design, paolo is the business strategist. robert vattilana, art director and giada’s life partner, is the third member of the group: the one who translates visions and sensations into images and spaces, or graphic and editorial choices. forte_forte is the offspring of the three’s joined efforts: the family name is doubled, christening the brand with an incitation that is already an expression of strength; the lower case font signals a desire for intimacy as opposed to ostentations.
